The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has partnered with Kunoch Nigeria Limited, as well as public and private sector organisations to champion the revolution of Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
National President of NACCIMA, Iyalode Alaba Lawson and Chairman of Kunoch, Pascal Dozie, said public and private sector organisations have committed to revamping the agricultural products value chain system, which would result in increased foreign direct investments (FDIs) into the country.
The NACCIMA/NIRSAL conference, which holds today and tomorrow, is expected to re-establish a platform for taking advantage of information and opportunities available to investors in the agriculture resources in the country.
It would also set the pace for the agriculture revolution in Nigeria.The two-day conference, with the theme: Unlocking the Potential of Agriculture for Economic Revival and Sustainability, would be a platform for the private sector to collaborate effectively with the Federal Government in achieving its 6.9 per cent average contribution of agriculture to the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Audu Ogbeh, Managing Director of NIRSAL, Aliyu Abdulhameed, Chairman, Kunoch Limited, Pascal Dozie and President, Nigeria Agribusiness Group (NAG), Sani Dangote, among others, will speak at the summit.
