Applications are invited from suitable qualified candidates for admission into Bachelor of Science Programme in Agricultural Extension for the 2018/2019 Academic Session.
A. THE PROGRAMME
1. The Programme is specifically designed for already serving mid-career agricultural extension workers only.
2. Students admitted into the programme required to spend two and half years, which will cover On-Campus Training and Off-Campus Supervised Enterprise Projects(SEPs).
B. ADMISSION REQUIREMENT INTO B.Sc. AGRIC EXTENSION PROGRAMME
1. Higher National Diploma (HND) in any field of Agriculture such as Agronomlerop Production. Technology/Horticulture; Agrlc Economics; Agric Extension; Animal ProductionlAnimal Health; Fisheries; Forestry and General Agriculture, with a minimum of Lower credit.
2. In addition to a compulsory credit in English language. Mathematics and Chemistry. candidates should possess at least one (1) additional 0 level credit pass in any of the following subjects; BiologylAgricultural Science. Physics. Geography and Economics.
3. in addition, a potential candidate should have a minimum of Four (4) years post-HND field experience in extension work or related field.
4. Candidates should be recommended and sponsored by their employers.
C. METHOD OFAPPUCATION
1. Applicants are directed to apply through JAMB. JAMB Application Feels Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N3.500.00)only payable to WM.
2. Upon payment of the Application Fee, lAMB will issue the applicant with a Registration Number.
3. Using the JAMB Registration Number. applicants will then obtain application forms from the Directorate of Examinations. Admissions and Records upon payment of a non-refundable processing fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10.000.00) at any commercial bank nation wide via e-payment Remita platform as from Monday. 3rd September. 2018.
D. SUBMISSION OFCOMPLEIEDFORMS
Completed application form, accompanied with photocopies of certified true copies of result must be submitted not later than Friday, 5" October, 2018 at the Directorate of Examinations.Admissions and Records ( DEAR) Bayero University, Kano.
